Martin backed his car into a parking space when the driver of a silver SUV blocked him, the MNPD said. Martin and the driver began to argue, then the driver pulled a gun from the SUV, fired several shots and drove off, police said.

According to his obituary, he was born in Maury County.

“He loved all sports, especially wrestling and football, and was an avid Tennessee Titans fan,” the post read. “He was very artistic and loved making music. Tarrance was funny, caring and helpful, and loved his family unconditionally.”
