The 200-room hotel will reopen on February 1 to key workers, primarily those in the oil and gas industry, and will be ready to welcome more when restrictions are lifted.
Hotel General Manager and Captain Colin Gunn said: âIt’s great to reopen the hotel to key workers from February 1st. We look forward to the restrictions being lifted so that we can once again welcome all of our customers. Our food and beverage options have been updated to comply with government guidelines, while still offering a great selection for our customers. We’ve even gone so far as to use some of our favorite menu items as the basis for Stallan’s stunning artwork throughout the hotel.
As part of the reopening, Aberdeen graffiti artist Stallan collaborated with Moxy to create a series of stunning artwork that matches the playful, affordable and stylish hotel brand.
UK North Regional Sales Manager Derek MacMillan added âWe are incredibly excited to reopen and look forward to welcoming more guests, it’s been too long! To celebrate the reopening, we have our Welcome Back promotion on the Marriott website which offers guests a 25% discount on stays along with free breakfast. “
For the reopening, new COVID-19 safety and hygiene procedures have been put in place to comply with government guidelines to ensure the safety and well-being of customers and employees. Comprised of internal and external experts in food and water safety, hygiene and infection prevention, and hotel operations, Moxy Aberdeen Airport strictly follows the cleaning and safety standards of the Marriott Cleanliness Council.
