Improvements unveiled at Holiday Inn Sydney Airport


A new room category and new color combinations have been introduced at Holiday Inn Sydney Airport as part of a major overhaul of 50% of the property’s accommodation, the hotel has revealed.

The hotel spent AU $ 4 million on the half-capacity refurbishment project, which saw the installation of new bronze light fixtures, leather headboards, wood panels and d ‘an earthy color palette. Bathrooms have also been upgraded with new luxury gray marble, white circular vanities, and the option of an overhead or hand shower.

Renamed Superior Rooms, the rooms have been fitted with new ergonomic armchairs and marble tables, as well as new workstations for business travelers, espresso coffee machines and large Smart TVs. The hotel has also introduced a new Junior Suite category as a premium option.

New gray marble has been installed on the renovated bathrooms.

The renovation extended to the hotel’s dining rooms, with Biggles Bar and Grill receiving a makeover with new tiled floors, seating arrangements, fresh artwork, and a new dining menu. Guests can also take advantage of a new 12-seater Mercedes airport shuttle vehicle, which runs every 30 minutes during peak hours.
