Better Regulation and Law-Making, ABI, Rome, 14 March 2007

The Italian Banking Association (ABI) will host a conference on Better Regulatioon and Law- Making in Rome on March 14. Speakers from public and private institutions will illustrate different aspects of Better Regulation and provide a range of member state and supra-national experiences.

Advanced Colloquium on Better Regulation, Exeter, 25-26 January 2007

The Centre for Regulatory Governance (CRG) at the University of Exeter is organising, with the support of DG Enterprise, European Commission, the 1st Advanced Colloquium on Better Regulation on 25-26 January 2007. The colloquium brings together doctoral students, academics and policy-makers to discuss better regulation topics, specifically regulatory impact assessment, consultation, market-friendly alternatives to regulation, simplification, regulatory compliance and the link between regulation and competitiveness. Doctoral students and research fellows will present their work in progress to an audience of academics and policy-makers, combining the benefits of scientific peer-review and the advantages of co-production of knowledge with policy-makers.
