The
DIADEM has several objectives. In order to speed up learning
across borders and convergence in the Single Market, DIADEM
aims to document the differing modes and degrees of
implementation of assessment procedures in EU member states
and at the EU level. The ambition is to provide more detail
and context than previous pioneering work (mostly done in
OECD context), which surveyed impact assessment models
adopted in EU Member States (e.g. IA inventory)
The
DIADEM will contain two basic units of information for every
country:
1) data on the process, content and outcome of each
individual IA
2) data on the IA system through which IA is produced
and its wider context. |
